Moissanite is a rare, naturally occurring mineral also known as silicon carbide, which was first discovered by the Nobel Prize-winning chemist, Dr. Henri Moissan, at the site of a massive meteorite strike in Arizona. This intriguing new stone was named “moissanite” in his honor.

It wasn’t until the late 90s that scientists–working in a research laboratory located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina–developed the innovative thermal growing process that creates silicon carbide crystals. These crystals are fashioned into moissanite gemstones that rival any natural gemstone for fire and brilliance. These man-made gems are more durable than any other popular gemstone such as sapphire, ruby or emerald.

All in stock/ready to ship items can be found in the “In Stock” section of the website. All custom/made-to-order items take approximately 6-8 weeks for production.

Fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. In order to extend the life of your jewelry, please follow these care instructions.

Take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as showing, lotion, perfume, etc.
Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous activities including going to the gym!
Keep your jewelry away from chemicals including perfume, hair spray, cosmetics and lotion.
Remove all jewelry before bedtime.

To clean your jewelry, soak in either windex or warm water and clear dish soap, then gently brush with a soft toothbrush. TOVAA is not responsible for the maintenance of your jewelry and do not polish purchased jewelry.

Since we handcraft each piece specifically for you, we want to get it right the first time! We highly recommend getting professionally sized prior to placing your order to ensure a perfect fit. Not everyone wears an even size, therefore many of our pieces are available in half and sometimes quarter sizes (ex: 6.5 or 6.25). Please keep in mind sizing a ring more than 1 size up or down can compromise the structural integrity and potentially cause long term maintenance issues.

Please note all full eternity pieces can NOT be resized.

Discount codes can be applied to your order during checkout. Discounts are only valid on specific items and for a set period of time. We cannot retroactively apply a discount code to an order placed before the discount code became valid. We cannot add the discount code to an order where you forgot to enter the code.

At TOVAA, every piece is intentionally crafted with heirloom-quality materials and expert craftsmanship. We stand behind the integrity of our work, which is why all engagement rings and wedding bands include a limited Lifetime Warranty.

This warranty covers the craftsmanship of your setting under normal wear and the optical properties of your lab-grown diamond or moissanite. If you believe your piece may qualify for assessment, please contact our team to begin the review process. After inspection, any issues caused by improper care (such as bent prongs or impact damage) may require repair at a cost to the client.

Please note: While lab-grown diamonds and moissanite are exceptionally durable, they are not indestructible and can be damaged under certain conditions.

What’s Covered

Craftsmanship concerns such as unstable settings or metal defects.
Any confirmed craftsmanship issue will be repaired or replaced by TOVAA at no cost.
Optical property changes (clarity, color, brilliance, fire, or luster) of your moissanite.
Optical property changes (clarity, color, brilliance, fire, or luster) of your certified lab-grown diamond.

What’s Not Covered

Normal wear and tear (including surface scratches).
Damage from improper care, misuse, or impact — such as bent settings, chipped stones, corrosion, or discoloration.
Lost stones resulting from damage or wear that was not addressed promptly.
Loss or theft of your jewelry.
Repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by any jeweler outside of TOVAA
(unless pre-approved by our team), as this will void your warranty.
Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Original proof of purchase must be retained.

We are pleased to offer complimentary express shipping on all domestic and international orders. Domestic deliveries arrive within 1–3 business days, and international orders within 5–7 business days.

A signature is required upon delivery. TOVAA is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once tracking confirms delivery. We are also not responsible for any delivery delays due to the recipient being unavailable for signature, or for unforeseen weather or carrier-related issues.

If your package is returned to TOVAA for any reason, the customer will be responsible for the re-shipment fee.

Once your piece has been handcrafted and is ready to ship, you’ll receive an email notification with tracking details so you can follow your TOVAA creation all the way home.

Sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in states which require and will be collected at the time of checkout.

Because each TOVAA piece is thoughtfully handcrafted and made-to-order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, credits, or exchanges for custom designs, bespoke engagement rings, ceremonial rings, fine jewelry, loose stones, or sale items.

We kindly ask that you confirm all details before purchasing — our team is always here to guide you through every step.

Ready-To-Wear Rings

We offer a 30-day exchange on all Ready-To-Wear Rings.
To qualify, the ring must be unworn and in its original, brand-new condition.

Custom & Bespoke Designs

To ensure your piece is perfect, we provide a CAD (computer-aided design) rendering within 2 weeks of purchase.

You will have 3 days to review and approve your CAD.
If approval is not received within that timeframe, we will move forward with crafting your piece as shown in the original design.
Any design changes must be made before CAD approval.
Once approved — or once the approval window has passed — no further changes can be made.

TOVAA Policies

We may decline a refund or exchange if:

There is visible wear or evidence the piece has been worn
The item is bespoke or custom-made
The ring has been resized to your specifications
An incorrect finger size was provided at the time of purchase
The reason for return is unrelated to quality
The quality concern can be quickly resolved by our jewelers
There is evidence of misuse or tampering

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
